1. I thought it was good. Poor Chris been put in a cell and it was Gene that took her hand when she was a kid. Its been a really good series and finding that her dads the clown i dint see that coming.
2. I was a huge fan of Life On Mars. Compared to that, Ashes to Ashes feels limp.
   
   
   
   I only watched the first two episodes, then gave up until tonights's finale. I wasn't at all impressed. Cannot believe another series is being made, it just feels like flogging a dead horse now.
3. it was funny and sad at the same time , genes one liners are hilarious , but i never saw the ending coming at all , still shocked at the clown being her dad and for one moment in time i thought maybe just maybe gene had planted the bomb ,but when Alex shouted " its you ." i realised he was the one she always saw holding her hand as a child ,Brilliant roll on next year for series two , it will only get better
4. Don't worry - trust the gene genie, he will be back. Great show tonight, it had a few unusual twists and turns.
5. I enjoyed it, but I thought it was a bit predictable and lacked a real conclusion. That was to be expected though, since the purpose of the episode was really just to tie up the story of Alex's parents and set things up for next year.
   
   
   
   I kind of saw the fact that her parents were behind the explosion that killed them coming, but was genuinely surprised when it was Gene Hunt that turned up and saved the young Alex.
   
   
   
   On the whole a decent series finale, but not as good as last week's episode in terms of drama.
